Timken Tapered Roller Thrust Bearings

TTSP-type thrust bearings, built for axial loading and commonly fitted in steering pivots, screw-down mechanisms and vertical shaft arrangements.

Each assembly comprises two tapered thrust races, rollers, a cage and an outside retainer that holds the unit together during handling. Select using the exact Timken reference, bore, outside diameter, height and, where applicable, oil-hole specification. Load Direction and Oil Holes

Load direction: Intended for axial load acting in one direction. Where meaningful radial load is present, a standard single-row bearing is the right choice.

Outside retainer: Holds races, rollers and cage together for handling. It is not a load-carrying part and the assembly is not designed to be separated.

Oil hole: Present on some references for circulating or forced-feed lubrication. If the original had one, the replacement must match.
